Early Childhood

Early Childhood Programs - No registration is necessary.

Our storytimes help children develop the foundations of reading through stories, songs, rhymes, and activities that also build social skills.

Romp & Read

Meets twice a week. Stories, songs, finger plays, games, and play time for little onesand their caregivers.

– On Tuesday morning, story time meets at 10 at the Selkirk District 1 Firehouse, Maple Ave. east of Route 9W.

– On Friday morning, story time meets at 10 at the library

Family Storytime – Glenmont

Introduce young children to books and reading at our fun storytimes.

On Wednesday morning, 10 am. Selkirk Fire Company #2, 301 Glenmont Rd, Glenmont, NY 12077

Preschool Storytime 

Stories and crafts for preschoolers, with caregivers nearby.

On Thursday mornings at 10:00 am at the library.
